Tone Ring Ping Tests

Here is a sampling of some banjo tone rings that I have held the same distance from the same microphone and pinged with the same object.  This is interesting but not supposed to be conclusive in any way.  These banjo tone rings were suspended on the pad of my index finger at the neck lag hole and struck with the same force with the rubber handle of a Craftsman screwdriver.  This may satisfy someone's curiosity.
